Interactive, Process:
First we define and appropriate technological application through a thorough research of related companies, in-house materials, business objectives, and additional resources. We then weave these findings into an overlying narrative structure. Then using the narrative we’ve developed we start to construct storyboards and content, which show us what happens where and when. After we settle on the storyboard sequence we begin to work out the visual concept ideas till we have a direction that works. We plug this design into a limited interactive prototype, which will help us work out how user interaction, motion design, and the general programming engine will work. Once this is defined we develop the final product and test it in its display environment.

Advertising, Process:
What are we advertising? What medium is the best way to advertise this idea? Who is the audience we are talking to? These are all questions that develop the outline of our strategy before even put ideas to paper. Once we have answered these thoughtfully and thoroughly we continue to work with our writers, marketing managers, and brand consultants to define the message this ad needs to convey. After distilling out the appropriate message we start to interweave visual imagery and text to illustrate the idea till we have a successful product that delivers results.

Print, Process:
In our opinion a good print design is tactile, distinctive, versatile, and clearly communicates information without overloading the senses. Keeping these criteria elements in mind we work to define a series of overarching ideas that tell us where and how this piece will live and what story it needs to convey. Furthering these elements we begin a series of visual sketches and ideas where nothing is thrown and out and everything is considered. Once the collaborative team of client and “creative” decides on a direction we work to develop print prototypes. When have worked out the print prototype we take the piece to press where we tweak colors and paper types till we have a successful product.

Identity, Process:
Sure enough, if you’re a fortune 500 company, a non-profit, or a small business you going to need to develop your brand. We work with clients to help them define and develop their brand identity from the naming process, brand messaging, and the visual development of a logo design. To do this we use a 3-step process, which entails developing brand goals, brand naming, and mood boards/color section to design successful logo concepts and eventually a defined identity.

Illustration, Process:
We use illustration to accent our full range of capabilities. If it requires a compelling illustration for a series of posters, a series of usable icons for a software application, or storyboards for motion design, we do it. When developing an illustration we sketch, sketch, and sketch some more till we have a rough outline of an illustration idea that talks to a predefined narrative structure. Once we have selected a workable sketch we begin refining the illustration. We start by scanning and cleaning up the sketch by using software illustration programs till we have a clean and effective illustration.
